Dr. Tobias J. Hessel

Tobias J. Hessel, attorney since 2009, studied laws at the University of Osnabrück and completed his education with the traineeship (Referendariat) at the Regional Court Düsseldorf. Before his traineeship at the Regional Court he worked as a research fellow at the Institute for White Collar Crime (Prof. Dr. Andreas Ransiek, LL.M.) and the Universtity of Osnabrück. He earned his PhD with a thesis that compares German and U.S. American law.

Within his legal internship at the Regional Court of Düsseldorf, he worked at an international law firm in Düsseldorf and Chicago with a focus on Intellectual Property especially patent litigation.
 
Since 2009 Tobias J. Hessel advises German and international clients in various matters of patent law. He especially concentrates on the areas of medical devices, telecommunications, general engineering and mechanics as well as electrics.
