Dr. Anja Lunze, LL.M.
Anja Lunze, attorney since 2006, is specialised in the area of Intellectual Property (IP) law since 2000. She chose to focus on IP during her LLM studies at the Universities of Strasbourg and Dresden, where she read for the "International Studies in Intellectual Property Law" LLM. Her PhD thesis considered the legal consequences of patent invalidity. For this work she was awarded the Faculty of Law Doctoral Prize at the University of Dresden.
She advises domestic and international clients in patent infringement litigation, employee's invention law and design law. Further she participates in parallel opposition and nullity proceedings before the European Patent Office and the German Patent Court. Her technical focus is on cases of mechanical engineering, telecommunication, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Anja Lunze regularly publishes on current issues of Intellectual Property Law, in particular on patent related questions, and she is speaker at conferences and seminars on patent and design law. As president of the International Studies in Intellectual Property Law - Alumni Association e.V. she works as editor and regularly organizes academic conferences regarding Intellectual Property law.
