Dr. Christine Kanz
Christine Kanz, attorney since 1998, partner of the firm since 1 January 2006, advises German and international clients in all Intellectual Property matters, especially in patent law. Next to patent litigation, her further main focus is the drafting of license agreements, cooperation agreements, research and development agreements etc., especially for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
She concentrates in particular on the areas of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology as well as chemistry and medical devices. Christine Kanz is also experienced in cases of general mechanics and mechanical engineering.
She has been specializing in Intellectual Property law already during her legal internship since 1996. After a visitors stay at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law in Munich, she received her PhD in trademark law in 2002 at the University of Düsseldorf.
Christine Kanz publishes regularly on patent law issues and is a speaker at conferences on patent law issues.
